Beginner or World Champion… we have a class for you!
All aspects of martial arts are addressed at our academy. The USA competition teams, demonstration teams and many World Champion competitors train in our facility. The academy is state of the art, providing a safe, clean and friendly atmosphere.   The curriculum taught is the very best available. Our instructors and staff are the very best and you will see why after your very first class.
Ages 4 and up are taught at our Academy.   All classes are age specific and divided by experience and skill levels.
 
 
 
Master David Karstadt
7th Degree Black Belt
International Instructor
Mr. Karstadt began Black Belt training in the martial arts in 1977.  
He first opened the doors of Arizona International Taekwon-Do in May, 1986.  
For more than 25 years Master Karstadt and his staff have been changing peoples lives with their unique style of teaching and personal attention to the development of their students physical and mental strengths. Master Karstadt has personally trained more than 10,000 students and promoted over 300 students to the respected level of Black Belt.   
 
In 2004 Mr. Karstadt coached the USA Men's Team to the Gold Medal at the World Championships in Dae Jeon, South Korea. His knowledge and skill in the art are unsurpassed. His years of training, teaching and wisdom are respected by all.
 
 
John Karstadt

John Karstadt began his Black Belt training at the age of 4. He is an internationally recognized competitor and demonstrator. Mr. John Karstadt led the men's USA Team to Gold Medal victory in the 2004 Taekwon-Do World Championships. He is an extraordinary instructor and public speaker. Mr. Karstadt delivers “world Champion” seminars and is an amazing mentor and role model for our students.
 
 
Victor Martin  
3rd Degree Black Belt, Senior Instructor
Mr. Martin began studying Taekwon-Do in Australia at the age of 4. In 1995 he came to the U.S. and in 1997 he began his Black Belt Leadership training under Master Instructor David Karstadt.  In 2004 Victor traveled back to Australia where he owned and operated his own Taekwon-Do studio for 4 years.  Mr. Martin returned to the U.S. in June of 2011 to join the instructor staff at Az Kicks and continue his training under Master Karstadt.
